Platinum Jubilee:

1937 to 2012 is indeed a long journey. 8th December 2011 marked the inauguration of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations in Don Bosco Liluah.

The celebrations commenced on a solemn note with the Holy Mass at 10.00 a.m. in the school auditorium. The main celebrant was the Coadjutor Archbishop of Kolkata, Thomas D’ Souza who was also the chief guest for the day.

The School grounds were all set for the programme which started at 2.00 p.m. Students of Class 5 heartily welcomed everyone with a song. A colourful carnival march by the KG students was followed by the March Past by the Senior and technical school students.

This was followed by the lighting of the Jubilee flame, the Flag Hoisting ceremony and the jubilee Pledge. The Rector of DBL, Fr. Biji Thomas welcomed everyone present.
